Taking Action
After October 7th, like many in my generation, I felt that continuing with “normal life” no longer made sense. but I also knew that real change is hard to pursue alone. Torenu emerged from that feeling: an initiative for young adults to build intentional communities and move together to Israel’s border regions, where they could step into roles as educators, social workers, or simply help where needed. I was part of the founding group and took on the design work, creating the brand identity and launching our first campaign materials. It was fast, intense work, designing while things were still forming, but the response was overwhelming. Within months, we reached hundreds of young people and helped four new communities take root in the Negev and northern border.

Brand Story
Now It's Our Turn
The brand for Torenu needed to capture a rare combination: urgency and care, resilience and openness. It had to speak to young people who were seeking meaning and community in uncertain times, without feeling heavy-handed or institutional. The visual language draws on grounded, human tones and clear, hopeful typography — signaling both action and belonging. It was designed to feel like an invitation: you don’t have to go alone, and what you build matters.
